First, the replacement of composite steel belt
1. The replacement of the composite steel strip shall be performed in accordance with the regulations of the elevator manufacturer, or at least the equivalent requirements for the strength, quality and design of the steel strip shall be met.
2. Composite steel belts already installed on other elevators should not be used again.
3. The composite steel strip should be replaced in its entirety.
4. The same group of composite steel strips should be new composite steel strips of the same material, grade, structure and size supplied by the same manufacturer.
Second, replace the composite steel belt after wearing
The composite steel belt should be replaced when:
1. Steel cords, strands or wires penetrating the coating;
2. The coating was worn out and some steel cords were worn after exposure;
3. Except for the continuous monitoring device for the remaining strength of the steel cord, which is configured according to the requirements of the elevator manufacturing and installation safety regulations, red iron powder appears at any part of the composite steel belt. (The red iron powder of the composite steel strip with grooves appears first in the groove, of course, not all the redness is iron powder).
4. If a composite steel belt in the elevator needs to be replaced due to wear and tear, the group of composite steel belts in use should be replaced at the same time.
Third, replace the composite steel belt after damage
1. The steel cord in the composite steel belt needs to be replaced after being damaged by external objects. If only the coating of the composite steel belt is damaged and the bearing steel cord is not damaged or exposed but not worn, the composite steel belt does not necessarily need to be replaced at this time.
2. If one of a group of composite steel belts is damaged during the installation of the elevator or before the elevator is put into use, it is allowed to replace only the damaged steel belt. In addition, the entire group of composite steel strips need to be replaced.
3. After the initial installation, all composite steel strips (including damaged parts) should not be shortened.
4. The tension of the newly replaced composite steel strip should be checked. If necessary, the tension of the composite composite steel strip should be adjusted every half a month after two months of new installation. If the tension level after six months has not been able to maintain a basic balance, the entire group of composite steel strips should be replaced.
5. The fastening device of the replacement composite steel belt shall be the same as the fastening device of other composite steel belts in this group.
6. When the composite steel belt is permanently knotted, bent or deformed in any form, the component should be replaced.
Fourth, replace the composite steel strip after the remaining strength is insufficient
When the strength of the bearing steel cord of the composite steel belt reaches the remaining strength standard, the composite steel belt should be replaced. Make sure that the residual strength of the composite steel strip is not less than 60% of its rated breaking tension.
